from towerwatcher:the increasing degradation of women in the watchtower society.
the lifestyle of a woman as one of jehovah's witnesses is certainly not an easy job.
it is a well known fact that most of the work that takes place within the watchtower society contributing to its success, is due to the backbone of the watchtower which can be described as the women in the congregation.
I
LOVE women God bless you all.
I wish you sweet success and many joys.Cheers,Danny Haszard Bangor Maine USA

Nic love, like I said before, if you believe that this life is all there is, then no death or adversity will make sense to you. Nic, death is not painful but for the ones left behind, and God offers His Spirit of love and peace to help comfort those who lose loved ones.
Death is a beautiful passing into the most beautiful of places for those who have recieved the forgivness from the Son. Children all go to the beautiful place. I have had a near death experience and I can tell you death is not painful. It is not as the JWs say, you do not go to sleep.
1 Corinthians 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
First of all we have to put in perspective what a Christian is.
Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what this meaneth, I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners. ASV
Christians are sinners. They have seen that they are sinners, and have seen their need for forgivness. They are not good people, they are sinners in NEED of a Savior. The best Christian is one who knows this. Not one who thinks they are special because they think they don't sin, go to meetings, go door to door, that is not righteousness, those are works. Those works don't count towards righteousness because the works are not charity.
Faith without works is dead, correct, but works without CHARITY are dead works.
James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
The world being habitual sin. Not anything but JW stuff. True religion is charity in the name of Jesus.
Truly evil people can hide real well in works oriented religions because it makes it easy to hide. Just go to the meetings, go door to door, don't have to think they tell you what to say. Evil can hide in mainstream religions too, just not quite as easy.
I love what my pastor friend said a couple weeks ago; "IF I SEE ANYONE ON MY CHURCH BOARD EVEN LOOKING AT ANY WOMAN IN THAT WAY YOU ARE OUT THE DOOR" He said men were not even allowed to look below a womans face, or out they go. If they were not on the board but a church member he was making it clear it was not acceptable behavior and wanted habitual lust to STOP. When you see people working to feed, clothe, shelter and care for the needy, you will not find as much evil. Evil can not pretend to care for that long, before they leave.
referring to the press release mentioned at http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/112393/1.ashx, it should be noted that wt is a corporation, with attorneys looking to cover themselves and their employer.
it is noteworthy then to consider what wt defines as a 'known child molester' as it is one classified as such who cannot hold a responsible position in the congregation.. letter to elders march 14, 1997: "who is a known child molester?
the january 1, 1997, watchtower article "let us abhor what is wicked" mentions on page 29 that a man "known to have been a child molester" would not qualify for privileges in the congregation.
So what all this means is that if a victim comes forward, and no one else knows about it, it is possible for an accused individual NOT to be considered "known." It is the public knowledge and the knowledge of the congregation at large (not just the elders) that determines whether this person is barred from office. That leaves a lot of wiggle room for confidentiality and congregation switching to protect a child molester.
This is what has been going on. Without the two witnesses there is no crime in the first place. All one needs to do is deny it, no witnesses, no crime, not known.
i rented a house in the late !970's and the contents in the home were given to me.. it happened to be books: ( making my life happy, revelation, children bible stories, listening to the great teacher ) i was enjoying the reading.. -----------------------------------.
a few years later began to notice awake magazines in doctor offices, and other public places and read them and enjoyed them.. ------------------------------------.
late 1980's my 7th son was 2 yrs.
Well here's the thing.
You do not mention once there being a Bible anywhere in this mix. You think God lead you to them where as I understand you were molested by a JW? So was I. Do you really think GOD lead you to a RELIGION where molestors are not only protected but get free legal protection from the WTBTS?

My stepdad used to hit me and bully me to the degree that he'd even find me guilty of things i didn't do. This happened once and i knew i was gonna get hit or at least threatened badly. I prayed so damn hard that he'd believe me and not hit me.
I'm so sorry that you went through that. Before I had a close relationship with Jesus, as a JW, something really really bad was happening to me. I was being sexually assaulted by .....man this is hard to type...i cant
anyways...I prayed to the only way I knew and was saved from the rest of the assault. I prayed to Jehovah. The God that frightened me, the only one I knew, and the assault ended right there.
I know that God saved me from what could have gotten worse. God will never force His will on us, and sometimes bad things happen to good people. Not because of God doesn't care, but because people are capable of the greatest of evils. I do now believe in hell.

Here's the thing. What parent would ignore cries of help from his children? Let's say the children were really selfish and only ever spoke to their father when they needed help. I could understand the father refusing requests for money or a new car but to ignore pleas for medical help? A lifeline? Not to reach down a hand and pull even an ungrateful child up from a cliff edge? What loving parent puts conditions on how his children speak to him? Respect must be shown of course but most human parents will always seek out their children even when they misbehave, are in prison or living lives of unrepentant debauchery. If my child were like that I would want him to change of course but I wouldn't cut myself off from him as a punishment for not making that change.
Just because He does not give you the answer you are hoping for, does not mean He is not listening and giving you what you need. For example; the person I have been discussing wanted something different than what I felt lead to arrange. He wanted me to go fast and pick him, bring him home for more counseling, and deal with it. I knew that was not Gods will because I have too much going on, it was not feasible. Thus God opened the door that was.
This person could have thought me cold and uncaring not to do it his way, but I knew a better way because I have a clearer picture of the entire problem.
God will NEVER shun His children. The Watchtower wanted us to believe He would. That is not in His nature. He is a loving Father always desiring to hear from His children. Always caring, always loving, no matter what.
There are NO conditions except that one glorify the Son and recieve His Son. That is because Jesus is THE only way and God will give everyone ample time to understand that. He will spend your entire life trying to reach you with fact.
Sometimes through the greatest adversity, comes the greatest love.

Prayer is not some trick to harness the power of God. It is communing with the One who made all things. God has a perfect will for our lives. Prayer puts us in touch with that perfect will. Everything I ask for, when it is according to His will, He gives me. Everything.
For instance, it IS His will that the person in rehab stop backsliding into drugs. The only wild card here was his free will desires. No one can force someone to be ready to make a change. I can pray that God work on that persons heart, put obstacles in that persons life to block their habitual sin (drug abuse), but God will never FORCE someone to love Him and be willing to give up a habit for Him. He will send His angels and Spirit to minister to that person. But God knew when this person would be ready, and at that very moment, He provided a way.
I lived life without this kind of effective prayer for the first 30 years of my life. I know the difference. Why do some prayers not get answered? It is not His will for you at that time. He is all knowing all seeing. There is so much we don't understand but I have come to see much of the way His will works for us, even though it seems He is just not caring.
The greatest difference is if one does not believe in an afterlife, no adversity is going to make sense to you. Do you think the thousands of after death experiences are some little quirck of the brain like the athiests try to tell themselves? Children's hearts stop and they see Light and family that has passed on. Adults hearts stop and they see either the Light, or demons and are horribly terrified to die.
When one believes that this is not the end, everything falls into place.
ok, this is gross.. i use to work in a restaurant in fl.
this lady use to come in that we called poopy pants.
(not to her face) anyway, she would sit, eat, and go to the bathroom like clockwork.
Once hubby and I went to a saloon called Pappy and Harriets in an old western town near here where they used to film the old westerns like Annie Oakly and Lone Ranger. We got there early and the bathroom doors were both open from cleaning. I went in, layered my regular 15 layers of toilet seat protection, and was shocked at the nasty NASTY stuff written on the stall walls! NAAAAAAAAASTY!!!
Then this person comes into the stall next to me and I never seen so much HAIR on a womans legs before, the stall walls were pretty high. So I'm thinking......hhmmmmmm. So I said; "you are not a woman are you" HE says "no". So I says; "so I'm not in the womens bathroom?" He says; "no" and laughs. I said; "the NASTY stuff on the walls gave me that idea, but your hairy ass legs confirmed it" I never peed that close to a strange man pooping ever before.
